From Swan to David – An Exhibition on Transformation and Inner Strength

Transformation, inner strength, and the search for self-worth lie at the heart of my first public exhibition.

Over the past two years, I have created more than 160 works, organized into two distinct series that reflect my artistic exploration of change, identity, and personal growth.

The first series—the "Swan Series"—comprises over 88 works. Inspired by the symbolism of the fairy tale "The Ugly Duckling," it speaks of self-worth, authenticity, and the power of transformation. It invites viewers to reflect on their own paths, the act of letting go of outdated self-images, and the beauty of living authentically.

The second series—"David"—marks the beginning of a new artistic chapter. Drawing inspiration from Michelangelo’s famous sculpture "David" and other iconic figures from art history—such as Alexandre Cabanel’s "Fallen Angel"—I have created contemporary, urban reinterpretations. The focus is on courage, steadfastness, and the archetypal human journey of facing one’s own challenges and growing through them.

The exhibition brings together two series that illuminate different facets of the same human journey: the path to discovering oneself and the courage to stand up for who one truly is.

Both series are deeply connected to my own life story. Repeated fresh starts, life’s trials, and the search for identity have shaped my artistic voice. However, these images are not intended as an autobiography; rather, they serve as an invitation to explore universal themes—such as transformation, resilience, and inner strength—from your own perspective.

I look forward to welcoming you to the opening at my home gallery. In an intimate setting, you will have the opportunity to view the works while enjoying a glass of sparkling wine or orange juice, to chat with me, and to learn more about the ideas and stories behind these two series.

About my Collections

I began painting in the summer of 2024, alongside my full-time job. I focused primarily on swans, painting well over 90 of them. This was my first Series.
To discover my artistic voice and themes—and to establish myself as an artist in the long run—I enrolled at the Milan Art Institute in January 2026. My goal was to refine my painting skills, find my voice, and acquire essential business skills.
I completed the practical component of the program in May 2026.
I have since found my themes and my visual language.

I reinterpret classic icons from the Renaissance and Greek mythology using neon colors, bold graphic shapes, and timeless symbolism.

I completed the practical component of the program in May 2026. I have found my themes and my visual language.

After completing the practical component of my studies at the art academy, I found my themes and my artistic voice.

I discovered that I am deeply fascinated by classical icons. I also love strong contrasts, neon colors, and bold black lines.

Painting alongside my full-time Job since Jun. 24

Swan Collection

I began painting in the summer of 2024, alongside my full-time job. I focused primarily on swans, painting well over 90 of them.

The first painting in my swan series marked a major turning
point in my life. For the very first time, my worth was acknowledged.

For the very first time, I found myself in an environment
where I could be myself—where I was accepted and, even more, respected for who
I am.

It was much like the story of the Ugly Duckling, who finally
gained his white plumage and was admired by others for it.

For me, however, this also meant not compromising who I was just to be liked,
but rather acting authentically and standing by myself!

As of today, I have painted around 90 pictures of
swans, so I have simply numbered them sequentially.
There are also a few paintings of water lilies among them; they are part of the Swan Lake theme.
